Along with that, today, I received a rather unexpected email from the Metal Observer saying that they finally got around to reviewing our old EP, "Casting Dark in Morning Light," which was sent to them over a year and a half ago. Anyway, in case you're interested, here is the review of old old EP. Thanks, Metal Observer! We'll be sure to send in our latest musical masterpiece very shortly.

In other news, Semper Tyrannis is in the midst of writing brand new material. A so-far untitled song composed by me, teh swede, will be a bit of a change in style from our other material which was mostly written by Greg. Alex T. is also working on a song which will be presented to the rest of the band very shortly.

Also, the drummers long, blond-brown locks of hair have been cut off and were donated to charity. He now sports a faux-hawk. Photos will be posted shortly.

Greetings. As you may or may not have known, our latest "As the Judgment Hour Nears" EP had a major misprint on the back of each CD case (it was not supposed to be identical to the back of the booklet). We have sold/given away about 40 so far, as the misprint was not completely crucial to the content of the EP. As of now, the misprint has been corrected and these old versions will no longer be sold.

We have 2 shows scheduled at the Hutzel Band Shell in Rutherford on July 28th and August 11th. These will be the first hometown shows we have played in approximately a year.

We continue to write music and seek more shows and label interest. Anyone who can lend a hand is greatly appreciated.

There are 4 tracks with a running time of about 23 minutes, and is the culmination of over a year of writing and recording. Alright folks, the new Semper Tyrannis website has been officially completed. Many hours of painstaking programming and design by me (Eric) and Sabrina are over and we bring you this masterpiece. The new EP should be ready before the Death in the Forest Festival. The album art has been finished and it is on its way to be sent out to be pressed. Details for the Death in the Forest Festival can be found in the "shows" section of the site. Thank you.
